Welcome to CrushSVG. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CrushSVG platform and API. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using CrushSVG, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
CrushSVG is an SVG optimization service that compresses SVG files by removing redundant data, converting curves to arcs, and applying smart encoding techniques. The service is available via a web interface and a REST API.
The free tier allows up to 50 SVG optimizations per month per user. Usage is tracked by a fingerprint derived from your IP address and browser headers.
You may not attempt to circumvent free tier limits through automated IP rotation, fingerprint spoofing, or other technical means.
We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly as selected. You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the billing period.
All amounts are in US dollars unless otherwise specified.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
You may not use CrushSVG to process files that contain malicious code, malware, or exploit payloads.
You may not attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service through denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests beyond your plan limits.
You may not reverse-engineer the optimization algorithms or extract the underlying engine for redistribution.
You may not resell access to the CrushSVG API without a written agreement.
You retain full ownership of all SVG files you upload to CrushSVG. We do not claim any rights to your content.
SVG files are processed in memory only and are not stored on our servers after the optimized result is returned.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to optimize any SVG files you upload.
The CrushSVG name, logo, optimization engine, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.
The optimization algorithms and techniques are proprietary technology.
API access is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your plan. API keys are personal and may not be shared publicly.
We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are used in violation of these terms.
API responses include quota headers (X-Quota-Remaining, X-Quota-Limit) to help you manage your usage.
CrushSVG is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that optimization will produce identical visual output in all edge cases, though we strive for zero visual degradation.
We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use of optimized SVG files, including but not limited to rendering differences across browsers or applications.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, updates, and unforeseen issues may cause temporary downtime.
Enterprise plans with SLA guarantees are available for customers requiring guaranteed uptime.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms, with or without notice.
If you have a paid account, you may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to paid subscribers or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
